This one day course is solely for newly appointed local secretaries and federation secretaries who require support in getting their Local Association up and running. The course will equip new secretaries with the skills required to plan their meetings for the academic year, incorporating all the relevant dates and rules of the Union, for ensuring that your Local Association is able to take a full and active part in the democratic structures of NASUWT.
The course will also cover facility time, GDPR and activities for engaging in the Union's National Annual Conference.
